Roasted all evening
Wait, What? WordPress?
I wandered back to the salt mines this week and converted an html site to wordpress for a friend. We haven’t gotten to much styling yet, just moved the content over and set up galleries.
I think it went pretty well; she’s happy, so I’m happy. It was good to get a little project to work on.

A N A L O G
I had an appointment in Seattle yesterday, so I made a detour over to Analog coffee. I am so glad I did. Once again, I was amazed at the quality of what they’re serving, particularly for pour over. Joe did a great job, and tutored me on my pour over technic.
I had an El Salvador El Manzano (here’s a page about this origin). It was marvelous. I went right away to see if I could get my hand on some at Sweet Maria’s, but no. I suspect their other South and Centrals would be just as good. But I always get distracted by the Ethiopian, and I several different offerings, and I ordered a pound of Burundi Prestige Cup #1 -Kiryama (limit 1 pound).
Anyway, make a trip over to Analog, you will definitely find it to be your new favorite coffee shop in Seattle. Here’s a write-up from their opening: http://blogs.seattleweekly.com/voracious/2011/07/analog_quietly_opens_in_capito.php.
Cheers.
Vietnamese Iced Coffee
Coffee? it’s like candy, baby.
Anytime is a good time for Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I had one exactly like this on Sunday with my lunch at Saigon Rendezvous in Olympia, Washington. The Asian waitress called it French coffee. I’ve had a lot of these and never heard it called that, but of course I didn’t argue with her. Wikipedia’s blurb about it is useful:
This post is added entirely from my iPhone using rpc-xml app called blog maestro. Pretty nifty.
